Product Details
For 80 years, we’ve been moving with Hong Kong — in the air and on the ground. To celebrate this shared journey, we’ve partnered with Hong Kong Tramways to dress four beloved “Ding Dings” in classic Cathay Pacific liveries from across the decades.
The “The journey begins” tram model is bound for Kai Tak, where Cathay Pacific’s story began, with roof car number “1946” specially set to mark the founding year of Cathay Pacific. Its livery pays tribute to the airline’s first aircraft, Betsy, symbolising our storied heritage.
The “Soaring to new heights” tram model is bound for vibrant Causeway Bay, commemorating Cathay Pacific’s leap to an all-jet fleet. Its livery pays tribute to the green-and-white liveries of Cathay’s Convairs in the 1960s.
The “Connecting to the world” tram model is bound for the waterfront community of Kennedy Town, marking a milestone when Cathay Pacific realised its vision to fly across the Pacific Ocean. Its livery pays tribute to the “lettuce leaf sandwich” livery, honoring the Jumbo Jet era.
The “The Brushwing legacy” tram model is bound for the historic Western Market, celebrating Cathay Pacific’s Asian roots and progressive spirit. Its livery features the “Brushwing” logo, carrying forward our heritage while looking toward the future.
While these special liveries roamed the streets of Hong Kong for a limited time, you can now bring that moment home. Each diecast miniature model is a lasting reminder of our legacy — a thoughtful addition to any collection, and a charming tribute to the eras that have shaped us. Catch all four tram models and piece together Cathay Pacific’s remarkable 80‑year journey.
